The rules
The rules of Sulfur are relatively simple, but they are strict and non-negotiable. They are therefore intended to be strictly adhered to. They form the very foundation of the club, making it what it is: a unique environment that cannot be found anywhere else (to the best of our knowledge, at least; which is, in part, the reason for its existence).
Internal Rules of the Sulfur Club
1. Respect for members’ anonymity
2. Adherence to the dress code
3. Punctuality and adherence to entry procedures
- Arrival on time : Doors open at the time stated on your invitation and close 30 minutes later, after which the Sulfur ceases to exist for anyone who has not been granted access for whatever reason. Late arrivals will therefore not be tolerated, in order to ensure the smooth running of the evening for everyone.
- One-time password : A password will be sent to members via text message or instant messaging just one hour before the event. This password, which changes every evening, must be provided at the entrance (either verbally or via your phone). Do not share it under any circumstances.
4. Adherence to the set themes
4.1 The "no" policy
"No" means NO, and we will make sure of it. It is neither a disguised "yes" nor even a "maybe". It is therefore the responsibility of those who invoke it and use it against anyone not to try to play a double game by attempting to convey something other than what the word itself expresses; this one, like all the others. At Sulfur, a cat is a cat. Nothing else. No judgement either, just enjoyment.
That said, nobody comes to a Sulfur event just to sit there and say no. Coming along just to say "no" is a waste of everyone’s time. Traditional swingers’ clubs are sure to satisfy sex tourists, voyeurs and passive onlookers. Anyone may find themselves in a situation where they feel compelled to refuse, and such a refusal must be respected unconditionally. However, any member who makes a habit of refusing requests on a more or less systematic basis will be asked to leave the club. Our distinguished members come to our events knowing exactly what they want, and we make sure they find it.
5. Code of Conduct
If there is one thing of paramount importance at the Sulfur Club, it is going home having had a (very) good evening. To this end, under no circumstances will any arguments, domestic disputes, or obvious and unpleasant loss of control due to alcohol or drugs – or any other reason, however legitimate it may seem at first glance – be tolerated.
As such, our club is characterised by joy, pleasure and the alchemical transformation of your wild nights out into luxurious, sensual evenings.
- Respect for other members : Any form of inappropriate, disrespectful or aggressive behaviour (whether verbal or physical) is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, discriminatory remarks, unwanted advances made without allowing the person concerned to respond at their own pace and in a manner that suits them, or any behaviour that disrupts the harmony of the evening.
- Respect for staff and the premises : Treat staff, any external service providers hired for the occasion, and the premises with the utmost courtesy. Any damage caused to the premises or equipment will be charged to the member responsible
6. Photography, film and audio recording
7. Responsible consumption
- Drinks : Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served as part of the sensory experience. Moderate consumption is required to ensure your safety and that of other participants. Any excessive behaviour related to alcohol will result in immediate exclusion from the event.
- Illicit substances : The use or possession of illegal substances on the premises of the venue hosting the event is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent exclusion from the Club, as well as legal action if necessary.
Once admission has been granted, drinks are free for members. Please note that "at your discretion" does not mean "all you can drink". The club reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol at its own discretion.
8. Post-event discretion
In accordance with the NDA (non-disclosure agreement), no information about the event (venues, attendees, activities) must be shared outside the circle of members present. This includes private conversations, social media, or any other form of communication. The mystery of the Sulfur Club is an asset that its members help to protect jealously.
9. Management of personal belongings
- Prohibited items : Weapons, dangerous items or any unauthorised materials are strictly prohibited. A discreet search may be carried out at the entrance.
- Cloakroom : A secure cloakroom will be available. The Club accepts no liability for the loss or theft of any items not left in the cloakroom.
10. Non-disclosure clause
Membership of the Sulfur Club requires the signing of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) regarding the identity of its members, as well as the known dates and venues of scheduled events. Please note that, as you will have realised if you have already browsed a few pages of the website, we place the utmost importance on the anonymity of our members. We are prepared to go to any lengths to achieve this, within the bounds of the law, of course. The signature we require from our members, affixed to their firm commitment to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding the identity of other members, whoever they may be, as well as concerning the dates, venues, themes and instructions prior to scheduled events and those that have already taken place, is the cornerstone of the Sulfur Club. As such, we require a legally binding electronic signature from each member, which can therefore serve as evidence against anyone breaching this commitment should this secrecy be compromised. This measure will ensure that everyone, without exception, is afforded the utmost respect for their anonymity.
The text of this clause is available to read online and download. If you wish to sign up, you will need to sign it via the eSignatures website.
