What Sulfur is not
The Sulfur Club can be many things, which makes it rather difficult to define. However, there are certain things it is absolutely not and never will be, despite certain appearances and superficial similarities. Clarifying these few points will no doubt help to define it, bearing in mind that everyone will, inevitably, have a different view of it. You have to have experienced it to hope to understand it…
Sulfur is not...
- A swingers' club (there's nothing to swing here)
- A party box (too vulgar)
- A nightclub (trendy or not, nobody’s here for that)
- A bar where you can get drunk (there are plenty of others to choose from)
- A restaurant (no one’s here for that either)
- A place where people hope that "something will happen" (hope is forbidden: certainty reigns supreme)
- A place where one sits idly by watching others get on with things (there are no spectators, only participants, relatively speaking)
- A place where illegal activities take place (you will be subject to the law there just as you are everywhere else)
What you can expect to find there
Within the limits set out above
- A sophisticated setting where the senses are fully engaged
- A place where anything is possible
- A place where no one comes to say "no" (or else they don't come at all – see our rules on this matter)
- A place where everyone is FREE in every sense of the word
- A place where awkwardness, shame and inhibition have no place
- A place where audacity is a virtue
- A place where social conventions no longer apply
- A place where everyone shares a little of their private life with everyone else... without restriction
- A world that is constantly reinvented, taking us even further into the realm of surprise and the unknown!
Here, impulse is free, respect is sacred.
